The Content
You have the option of selecting professionally-developed content* from us and/or we will work with you to create your own. The bottom line is that the text you use will contain the specific material to match your course needs. No more 1000 page books and wasted material.

The Price
We start our publishing process by establishing a reasonable price point for students and then we work backwards to determine financial feasibility. Because of our low overhead, streamlined publishing process, and refusal to produce wasteful material, we can often price our texts at less than half of traditional texts. And for those situations where the price must be extremely low, we can often greatly reduce royalties or waive them entirely (through shared use or prepaid rights).

The Revision Cycle
You control the update and revision cycle for your text; no more spurious revisions that are released right before a semester starts!

The Package
We only produce material essential to your course needs. We don’t force the use of unwanted study guides, websites, and technology tools.

• Page lay-out - We take your raw manuscript and turn it into an attractive, professionally designed book.
• Cover design - We work with you to create an attractive and unique 4-color cover.
• Rendering of any illustrations or figures - We will have our designers render new art and figures specifically for your text.
• Editorial guidance - If you need assistance or guidance on content issues or permissions, our staff of developers will be on call to help you every step of the way.
• Permissions - We will ensure that all content in your manual adheres to current copyright law.
• Printing - We use a variety of state-of-the-art printing technologies to produce the most attractive yet cost-effective products possible. We also strive to maintain small amounts of inventory so that you may make updates and changes on a semester by semester basis.
• Distribution - We work directly with your bookstores to ensure the timely delivery of your product.
• Warehousing - While we strive to maintain minimum amounts of inventory, we do keep a small number of products on hand for those last minute re-orders.
• Generous royalties - We offer a simple yet generous compensation plan for our authors and departmental partners. Royalty may be waived to further reduce the price paid by your students.

As a textbook publisher, we are faced with enormous environmental issues due the large amount of paper contained in our print products. Since our inception in 2002, we have worked diligently to be as eco-friendly as possible.

Electronic Products
We deliver products in non-paper form whenever possible. This includes pdf downloadables, flash drives, & CD’s. Electronic Samples We use a new electronic sampling system, called Xample. Instructor samples are sent via a personalized web page that links to pdf downloads.

FSC Certified Printers
All of our Printers are certified by the Forest Service Council which promotes environmentally and socially responsible management of the world’s forests. This program allows consumer groups, individual consumers and businesses to work together hand in hand to promote responsible use of the world’s forests as a renewable and sustainable resource.

Recycled Paper
All of our products are printed on post consumer waste recycled paper.
